Course Objective

The First Responder will develop life saving skills to recognize unsafe scenes, hazardous materials, emergencies, protection from blood borne pathogens, controlling of bleeding, and application of splints.

Primary life-saving patient assessment, in line spinal stabilization and transport, and when to call for more advanced medical help.
