- Minimum Safe Approach Distances (MSAD) for Mobile Equipment – Energized Power lines
Practical Session:
- Crane Inspection Checklist and Procedures
- Jobsite Evaluation – Powerlines/Surface
- Mobile Crane Function Checks – Boom Operations/Hoist/Outriggers/Drive/Steer
- Lifting Practical – Operator must demonstrate understanding to use controls smoothly in performing a Lifting Operation
- Rigging and Signaling Practical – Operator must demonstrate ability to select appropriate sling for load and find Centre of Gravity.
- Operator must demonstrate understanding of following Signal Man instructions.
Certification
Each participant will receive a Certificate and Wallet Card upon successful completion of training.
